Robert Ryder, artist, was born and raised in New England.
His current works are greatly influenced by the fluid beauty
of
Cape Cod. The son of a sign painter,
Ryder received formal training at University of Toronto and the Museum School in Worcester.
While working in
many mediums,
he favors oils and acrylics.
His style , primarily characterized as realistic impressionism,
is intent
on capturing
nature's
infinite dance of color and light.
His perceptive eye
for architectural detail
is particularly evident
in
his murals.
