Welcome to the Ryder Art Gallery. This site exists in the belief that art should provide not only an expression, but also an expansion of life. The art experience is a very personal one. What the viewer sees in a painting is a function of his/her total life experience and may even be considerably different from what the artist intended.

This is why courses in "art appreciation" so often fall short of the mark. Art is not a question of what you "should see", but rather, "what you "do see" in your own frame of reference. Art fulfills its function only in as much as it allows us to "see beyond the usual".


Purchase Options:

The images in our gallery may be purchased as: original paintings, giclees, or color-stable laser prints. The giclees are available in many sizes on watercolor paper or on canvas. These may be purchased with or without matting and frames. Original paintings, when available, are individually priced. Contact us for further details.

The prices on the images in our gallery are for the laser print option. They are available in the closest possible approximation to 11" by 17". Some size variation occurs as a result of the proportionality of the original painting. Most images, when matted and framed, will approximate 16" by 20". We invite you to browse our online gallery

Gicleés: are available in a multiple of sizes on both watercolor paper
and canvas. There are numerous options in matting and framing.
